ESN Czech Republic Sections

Each section of Erasmus Student Network Czech Republic looks after international students coming to the universities where the sections are active. The help to international students starts prior the arrival to Czech Republic when the international students are contacted by czech ESN members so called mantors or budies. These mentors are in contact with students and are able to answer every question about study and life in Czech Republic. Afterwards the international students are picked up at airports or train/bus stations and it is shown them where they live where is their university, shops, etc. Usualy a week prior start of the semester there is Orientation week organized by local sections when students are informed at their university and their future semester or year as well as what is prepared for them from people from our ESN international student clubs. Mainly our sections provide:

• Initiate contact with foreign students.
• Provide help with arriving.
• Set up partnership program – buddy.
• Organization of Orientation week.
• Overall assistance during semester.
• Trips around Czech Republic and abroad.
• Excursions, parties.
• Promoting international spirit at our universities.
• Language and conversation classes.
• National and country presentations.
• Skill enhancing of czech members.
