Who are we?
Hello there, You stumbled upon ESN UCT Prague’s webpage!
As our dear mascot Pencillin already managed to explain to You, our student club is from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague.
We are volunteers taking care of all incoming international students of our university and trying to ensure for them a warm welcome and (as much as possible) enjoyable stay.

International students
Hello hello dear international students and welcome to UCT Prague, where you will be spending your exchange year/semester/internship...
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Going abroad to study is an incredibly big step towards a better future! While you will be discovering a new city, new country, new culture, enriching your brain with new knowledge, we are here for You so You won’t get lost in the sauce
Once you arrive, you will most probably:
- Get picked by Your BUDDY! Your new local friend will help you with the first days of your stay here and possibly for the rest of the semester!
- Attend Administration day, when You will get all the necessary information for bureaucracy, to ensure comfortable stay in Prague
- Attend our ORIENTATION WEEK – a week full of events, where You will get to know the university, other international students and Prague itself!
Throughout the semester you can:
- Spend time with Your BUDDY
- Discover the beauties of our university and the city
- Join our Culture evenings, where You can show Your culture to others!
- Join our trips to other cities, landmarks, historical sites of Czech Republic
- Join our parties, karaokes, pubquizes… which we organise alone or in cooperation as ESN Prague United

Then look no further!
If You’d like to get to know new friends from around the world, practice your English (or other languages) with native speaker while lending a helping hand? Would You like to show Your favorite spots, tell intriguing fun facts and experience a lot of fun and unusual things?
If Your answer is yes, then join our BUDDY PROGRAMME where You will help an incoming exchange student during their stay here
You can become a part of the team doing the work behind the scenes by becoming a member of ESN UCT Prague!
We are looking for people who will make the experience of international students and their buddies an unforgivable one!
You will have the possibility to try out planning events, prepare promotional materials, learn how to make team work dream work or even try out working with finance. Moreover, You will meet people from other universities across Czech Republic and whole ESN Network, who have the same goal!
